Abstract: 
The ‘International Office for Sustainability, Bogota’ project, led by biologist Prof Dr Thomas Wilke and peace researcher Prof Dr Stefan Peters, is about setting up the first ‘International Office for Sustainability’ in the Global South. The office, which is to be assigned to the JLU branch at the Universidad des los Andes in Bogotá, will deal specifically with sustainability issues in transnational cooperation in the higher education sector. Other cooperation partners are the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Colombia), Universidad Antioquia (Colombia) and Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Ecuador).
