Abstract: 

Gold double feature: A new gold‐catalyzed domino cyclization/oxidative coupling reaction is presented, wherein the same catalyst promotes the cyclization of the alkyne group in arylpropionic esters onto the arene, as well as the oxidative homocoupling of the resulting bicyclic coumarin product to the dicoumarin, an interesting scaffold, for example, in many natural products.
