Abstract

Wisdom
seems to be an antiquated learning objective in times of mass-media and
globalizatio. On the other hand wisdom is still highly estimated, it
combines an extensive questioning and thinking in lager contexts with an
autonomous manner of acting. Art-works are narratives that cover
complex dimensions of human existence. Thus they appear as philosophy
with other means. The production as well as the analystis of art
mobilizes universal mental skills. So the question arises whether
art-education is a place where cultivating wisdom is a significant
challenge and an accessible objective.
